# Productboard

> Sync your Productboard roadmap into ClosedLoop AI: products, features, and releases connect to customer demand and the insights behind each request.

Connect Productboard to ClosedLoop AI and your roadmap gains customer evidence. ClosedLoop AI syncs your Productboard workspace as a roadmap source, then matches customer demand (insights and themes) onto the work you have planned, so feature prioritization is grounded in what customers actually say.

## What Gets Synced

| Features | The feature hierarchy under each product, with statuses |
| Releases | Release groupings and their timelines                   |

<Note>Productboard is a **roadmap source**, not a feedback source. ClosedLoop AI syncs a full copy of your planning data each cycle, so the roadmap always reflects the current state in Productboard. There is no lookback window to configure, and roadmap sync does not consume AI analysis credits.</Note>

## Connection Method

Productboard connects with an **API token**. You create a token in Productboard and paste it into the connect form in ClosedLoop AI.

## Setup Guide

    1. In Productboard, create an API access token from your workspace settings
    2. In ClosedLoop AI, go to **Settings, Integrations**
    3. Find **Productboard** in the integrations list and click **Connect**
    4. Paste your API token and click **Connect** to verify and save

    If you connect more than one roadmap tool, one of them acts as your team's primary product roadmap. The first roadmap tool you connect becomes the primary automatically; you can change which tool is primary in Settings at any time.

## What You Get

Once connected, ClosedLoop AI will:

1. **Sync your products, features, and releases** in full, keeping the roadmap current with Productboard
2. **Project them onto your roadmap** as initiatives and features
3. **Match customer demand**: insights and themes connect to the features they support, so every roadmap item shows its evidence
4. **Reveal coverage gaps**: see which customer demand is not yet reflected in planned work

Changes you make in Productboard appear in ClosedLoop AI after the next sync cycle. The sync is read-only: ClosedLoop AI reads your planning data and never writes back to Productboard.
