# CSM Prep

> A one-screen brief before a customer call: their open risks, what changed since you last spoke, and any promise still outstanding on your side.

Prepares you for a customer call. Give it a customer name and it returns their open risks, what changed since you last spoke, and any commitment still outstanding.

```
/closedloop-csm-prep Northwind Trading
```

## Arguments

| Argument                | Required | Default |
| ----------------------- | -------- | ------- |
| Customer name or domain | yes      |         |

Multiple matches produce a numbered list to pick from.

## What you get

```
CUSTOMER PREP: Northwind Trading
Stable account, but export reliability is eroding trust. Every
churn signal is operational, not commercial. This is a save call
that still looks like a check-in.
LANDMINES
  DEAL BLOCKER  Export times out on the monthly reconciliation
    "We've stopped promising this to our own clients."
      Priya, 4 days ago
  CHURN RISK    Second mention of evaluating alternatives
    "If this is still broken at renewal we have a decision to make."
      Marcus, 3 weeks ago
WHAT CHANGED
  New since last call: they started splitting the export by hand.
OPEN THREADS
  Root-cause note on the timeout: committed by you, Jan 15.
PATTERN CONTEXT
  The export timeout is not theirs alone. It is one of the most
  reported problems on the platform this quarter.
```

## What is on the screen

* **Headline.** One opinionated judgment, written last. Not "customer is frustrated", which anchors you before you have heard anything.
* **Landmines.** Deal blockers and stated churn, max 3, with verbatim quotes.
* **What changed.** New topics in the last 30 days only.
* **Top 3 concerns**, in their own words.
* **Open threads.** Commitments not yet resolved, framed as preparation.
* **Pattern context.** Whether this pain is theirs alone or shared.
* **Competitive**, only if a competitor came up recently.

## Pattern context changes your answer

* **Theirs alone**: a service conversation.
* **Shared across accounts**: a roadmap conversation, and you can commit.

It always says which, including when the answer is "specific to this account".

## A healthy account gets a shorter brief

No landmines, no competitor, nothing new: those sections are absent, not empty. The length is the signal.
