# Customer Proof

> Find marketing-ready customer proof: website quotes, case-study candidates, ROI evidence, adoption stories, and live reference candidates.

You need proof, and the evidence already exists in what customers told you. This skill ranks the candidates worth asking, tells you where each one belongs, and shows you the words they used.

## Usage

```
/closedloop-customer-proof find customer quotes about memberships
/closedloop-customer-proof find case study candidates for API exports
/closedloop-customer-proof find ROI proof for reporting from the last 180 days
/closedloop-customer-proof show recent customer love
```

Name a topic, product area, feature, or value theme. With no topic, it browses the strongest recent proof.

## Where Each Candidate Belongs

| Scope          | Use it for                                                                          |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Website | Public quote, wall of love, homepage, testimonial page |
| Sales | Decks, follow-up emails, collateral, prospect conversations your team runs |
| Case study | Interview, ROI validation, a named written or video story |
| Live reference | The customer takes part directly: an intro, a call, a webinar, an analyst reference |

## What You Get

* **Strongest candidates first**, each with the person, their role, and their customer account
* **A recommended usage scope**, with the scores behind it
* **A suggested ask**: what to request from this person
* **Why this is strong proof**, grounded in evidence rather than asserted
* **One to three verbatim excerpts** with dates
* **Permission status or caveat**
* **Do not use publicly yet**: candidates the skill excluded, with the reason for each
* **Next steps**: how to work the shortlist

## Design Principles

**Willingness to advocate is askability, not permission.** The two are never conflated, and nothing implies public approval unless the evidence explicitly says permission is known.

**Verbatim evidence travels with every recommendation.** A recommendation you cannot read the quote behind is not usable.

**Inactive and unresolved accounts are excluded**, and the exclusions are shown rather than quietly dropped.

**Discovery only.** To draft the permission email, hand a chosen candidate to [Customer Proof Outreach](/docs/skills/customer-proof-outreach).
