Use SettingsMembers to manage access to a ClosedLoop AI workspace. Roles provide defaults, while granular permissions can change what an admin or member can manage.

Role model

Granular permissions can override role defaults. The controls visible to the signed-in user are the source of truth for their current access.

Invite a teammate

1

Open Members

Go to SettingsMembers.
2

Create the invitation

Select + Invite, enter the teammate’s email address, and choose the appropriate role.
3

Send and verify

Send the invitation. Confirm that the person appears as Invited until they accept.

Change access

1

Choose a member

Open the member’s actions in SettingsMembers.
2

Change the role or permissions

Choose Make Admin, Make Member, or Manage Permissions, depending on the access change you need.
3

Confirm the new access

Reopen the member’s actions and verify the displayed role and permissions.

Remove access or transfer ownership

  • Use Cancel Invitation for a pending invitation.
  • Use Remove Member to revoke an active teammate’s workspace access.
  • The current owner can use Transfer Ownership for an eligible active member.
Ownership transfer changes who controls the workspace and billing. Confirm the intended recipient before completing it.

Troubleshooting

  • Management actions are missing: Your role or granular permissions do not allow that action.
  • A teammate cannot manage a feature: Review their granular permissions instead of relying only on the role name.
  • You need current plan limits: Open SettingsPlan & billing. Plan details are not duplicated on this page.
